Despite diplomatic efforts including no-fly zones and compensations for neutral pilots killed by rogue militants, the ongoing pirate activity has forced CVA to follow through on its decision to cease assistance to the Imperial Crusade as a whole. CVA may still [...]

The Caldari State has had it's own interests in the recent slave emancipation by Empress [...]

8WA-Z6, Delve - The battle for Delve blossomed to epic proportions over the course of 12.02.111. Many of the control towers necessary for holding sovereignty claims fell, supercapitals were slain both in space and in construction and system sovereignties changed hands. Territory-grade sovereignty in most of Delve is currently held by KenZoku. Under its previous registration as Band of Brothers, the corporations currently comprising KenZoku held Province and, in some systems, Constellation Capital [...]

Semi Finals are complete and R.U.R. will face Pandemic Legion in the Finals to be held at 21:30. Semi Finalists made a good showing with R.U.R. claiming a victory in a hard fought match against G00DFELLAS. Both teams starting the match on the beacon cost G00DFELLAS one of their Nighthawks as it was quickly primaried and destroyed. A boundary violation by another Nighthawk may have tipped the balance towards R.U.R. In the Ev0ke vs. Pandemic Legion match, Ev0ke's decision to take out the Pandemic Legion [...]

The first 16 elimination rounds of the 6th Alliance Tournament are complete. Every match was action filled and ran the gamut from complete domination down to at least one match called for time and winner decided by points. Today's matches highlighted the creativity and sheer guesswork that goes into some fleet decisions, as well as the pitfalls of over anticipating your opponent. Probable Cause's odd fielding of seven Osprey Navy Issues highlighted this as team contact badass2k6 explained: "our set up [...]

Early reports claimed that Arkannen, a director of Band of Brothers' executor corporation Tin Foil, had defected to enemy alliance Goonswarm along with Black Nova Corp director, Haargoth Agamar. Goonswarm Intelligence Agency Chief, The Mittani, released an audio recording yesterday which gave details of the scheme. Defector Haargoth Agamar, however, does not speak [...]

                              Band of Brothers Alliance Disbanded

                              • YC111-02-05

NOL-M9 - A few hours after midnight on 05.02.111, Band of Brothers alliance was disbanded. The loss of formal alliance status forcibly relinquished all Band of Brothers held sovereignty, and thus is expected to render all their outposts vulnerable, pause the construction of all motherships and titans currently being built in their capital assembly arrays and interfere with the proper fuctioning of cynojammers and jump bridge waystations at their control towers. This effect has never been seen before [...]

Qualifying Rounds For 6th Alliance Tournament End

                                • YC111-02-01

Second Round Qualifying is now complete and the match schedule for the Finals will be posted within the next few days. The use of faction ships was prevalent throughout the entire weekend. The most notable example of differing results was the very similar fleet composition of the ATLAS match and the The Church match. ATLAS' loss of 7 Phantasms and a Nightmare in their match was quickly overshadowed by The Church's success which included 8 Phantasms and a Nightmare (losing only 3 of the Phantasms). [...]

                                  • YC111-02-01

The first half of the last day of Qualifying has been completed and the second half has just gotten underway. Teams continue to vary their fleet compositions looking for the ideal setup. A surprising number of teams have been using Sansha Phantasm cruisers and Nightmare battleships in their fleets, with some rather poor results as demonstrated in the ATLAS ALLIANCE vs Molotov Coalition match. Using a fleet including 7 Phantasms and a Nightmare, ATLAS was not able to make their expensive venture [...]
